About iNova Credit Union
iNova Credit Union is a small member-owned credit union in Halifax, Nova Scotia, founded on April 1, 1936 as the Halifax District Postal Credit Union by postal workers. After two name changes it expanded in 2004 beyond postal employees to serve the broader community with full-service banking. It is currently exploring a merger with East Coast Credit Union, Acadian Credit Union, and Teachers Plus Credit Union.
